Fleur Wood is an accomplished entrepreneur and CEO of Sana Health Group, bringing a wealth of experience across multiple industries. She previously served as the CEO of South Pacific Private, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s growth and success. With a creative flair, Fleur also made her mark as a fashion designer, building a reputation for her feminine designs. In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Fleur is a registered Gestalt psychotherapist with PACFA and has completed her studies at the Relational Institute Australia, blending her passion for personal growth and mental health with her leadership expertise. Her diverse career demonstrates a unique combination of leadership, creativity, therapeutic insight, and entrepreneurial vision.
In 2019 Fleur was appointed Director and then CEO of South Pacific Private, Australia’s leading treatment center for addiction, depression, anxiety and trauma. This family business was founded by her parents Bill and Lorraine Wood in 1993. Fleur worked closely with the senior management team on communications, business strategy and her vision for inclusive, accessible, leading edge mental health care for all Australians.
Having overseen the successful investment by private equity Genesis Capital of South Pacific Private, Fleur joined the Sana Health Group board where she is currently employed as CEO across the group overseeing growth and strategy.
Prior to her role at South Pacific Private, Fleur was in the forefront of the Australian fashion industry. She started her eponymous label in 1999, and her collections quickly established an international following for their distinctive femininity. From 2001-2015, she managed a multi-million dollar private label business with Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters and Myer.
Fleur is also the author of two successful books. In 2010, she published the best selling title Food Fashion Friends with Penguin Australia, which Vogue Australia called “the ultimate guide to entertaining..." Her successful follow-up title Food Fashion Love was released in 2014.
Living in New York from 2013-2021, Fleur Wood co-founded the charity Ads-Up, which helped refugees resettled from Australian detention centres in Nauru and Manus Island get a foothold in America and supports refugees still detained apply for Canadian resettlement.
Fleur now lives in Sydney with her husband and their three children.
